Bussiness units
The TIK Terminal can be connected to a server or operate independently (without being connected to a server). It enables the use of an infinite number of terminals in the system. The terminals are connected to a server onto which the data they collect is transferred. If the terminal is not connected to the server, data can also be transferred using a USB flash drive (TIK Offline).
The TIK Terminal can be physically transferred to another location, such as a construction site, where employees can register, log into work orders, etc., then moved back to the main location, where it can be connected to the server, enabling the transfer of data to the server.
As the working time recorder can be installed at eight different locations, we have developed the BUSINESS UNITS module, which enables the organisation of employees, personnel management, working hour calculation, cost management and access control according to individual business unit. The module enables you to specify, based on the company’s hierarchy, which employee working at a certain location can see which database containing employee data generated on the basis of working time recording.
Example: An employee from a business unit in Maribor can only use the program to monitor the employees at the unit in Maribor and their data, whereas an employee in Ljubljana, where the management department is located and where the salaries are calculated, can see the attendance of employees at any other unit.
