The company Epiko d.o.o., was founded in 2006 with a basic orientation toward research and development projects in the area of embedded systems. At first, we mostly provided our services to foreign customers, but we soon began to get our first local customers, mostly companies which needed quick and quality solutions. |
The company
We have used our knowledge and experience to add our own product to the market. We have discovered our niche market and the opportunity in a system for comprehensive working time management. Thus came the TIK terminal, which has been developed and manufactured entirely by our company.
The TIK terminal is not only a terminal for working time management, but it also provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring access, time and attendance and time consumption per work order. Comprehensive human resource management is essential for every company’s successfulness.
With the TIK terminal, we are transforming the general opinion of working time management systems; they are changing from irritating devices which intrude into the privacy of every employee to modern information systems used for simple and efficient management of our time.

Vision and goals
The working time management system industry encompasses a practically infinite market, as every company regardless of its size, requires such a system. In the past, these systems were relatively expensive in regard to their functionality, and were thus used only by larger companies. It was thought that smaller companies did not require them, as these systems were not only expensive but also put pressure on employees (which is still the leading negative factor).
Today, such systems are expected to be highly functional, customizable and comprehensive in terms of ease of use and a comprehensive overview of working time. Two of the main success factors in the industry are the ratio between value added in comparison with existing systems for working time management, and the price.
The trends in the industry are moving toward network solutions, multi-user systems, attractive designs and simple installation and usage.
The biometric system segment provides a practically unlimited number of opportunities, as biometry provides a high level of security and ease of use, but can be locally restricted (subject to legislative requirements from the field of personal data protection).
What are our goals?
Establishing ourselves in the domestic market as a developer, manufacturer and supplier of comprehensive hardware and software solutions in the field of modern time and attendance management systems based on contactless RFID technology and biometry.
Innovative upgrading of our own system for monitoring time consumption per work order, and its integration into existing ERP systems for comprehensive project management.
Expansion of our activities to other markets through local system integrators.
Expansion of the company into a modern company with our own sales, marketing, development, manufacture and customer support.
